Capture Camera Clip

Unlike a camera strap, Capture keeps your camera rigidly stable while hiking, biking, or moving around the studio. Unlike a camera bag, Capture keeps your camera instantly accessible with the click of a button. Includes 2 components: a metal clip that clamps to any backpack strap, belt, or bag, and an Arca tripod-compatible plate that screws into the bottom of your camera. Your camera locks into the clip, where it is held rigidly and securely. Press the lockable quick-release button to remove. Holds well over 200 lbs. I had my worries after seeing some reviews of this clip but it's really well made! The ability to rotate the pin to prevent pressing it is a MUST and makes me feel a lot better about hiking with a camera. Everything feels right about this clip. I also use it with a focus unit on my belt when working 1st AC.
Peak Design Capture Clip works as advertised. It is smaller than it looks in photos and the arca swiss camera plate is very low profile so as not to snag or interfere with the use of your camera. Edges on both the clip and mount are smooth and well made. It firmly attaches a full sized DSLR and telephoto lens with no problem. I purchased two of them.

I own several of the clips. They work great and do exactly what theyre intended to do.
Easy to install and very secure. I'd recommend to replace the mounting screw to those generic C ring one for easy installation instead of having to always carry that hex tool. The plate doesn't fit my Manfrotto quick release ball head. So be aware of this drawback and get a non-quick release ball head that you can use it on.

AWESOME GOPRO ACCESSORIES
I use this to attach a Fuji ex2 to my belt with the addition of the Capture and the Capture pad. I have this setup so it’s holding the camera upside down, lens facing out on my left hip. It’s handy for me to have this smaller camera belt-mounted while I then have a canon with a large super zoom on a sling strap on my right. This way I’ve two cameras, one strap, and no bag.

Bought it for my GoPro originally and the point-and-shoot plate is the bonus. With j-arm you can easily alter different shooting angles.
