I had my worries after seeing some reviews of this clip but it's really well made! The ability to rotate the pin to prevent pressing it is a MUST and makes me feel a lot better about hiking with a camera. Everything feels right about this clip. I also use it with a focus unit on my belt when working 1st AC.
Peak Design Capture Clip works as advertised. It is smaller than it looks in photos and the arca swiss camera plate is very low profile so as not to snag or interfere with the use of your camera. Edges on both the clip and mount are smooth and well made. It firmly attaches a full sized DSLR and telephoto lens with no problem. I purchased two of them.

I own several of the clips. They work great and do exactly what theyre intended to do.
Easy to install and very secure. I'd recommend to replace the mounting screw to those generic C ring one for easy installation instead of having to always carry that hex tool. The plate doesn't fit my Manfrotto quick release ball head. So be aware of this drawback and get a non-quick release ball head that you can use it on.
