I used this pole while backpacking and diving through Southeast Asia. Hands down, it's the best I've used. It's compact enough for a backpack, super light and strong, and because it's carbon fiber, you can dive in saltwater no problem. Got some great shots/video with sharks and mantas.

However, I can’t remember why I did this, but don’t take it apart. It’s not a user friendly rebuild, however I managed.
Great tool for in the water. IVe taken it snorkeling and diving a bunch and the biggest issue is frwshwater rinsing it after a dive. The only downside is that it’s difficult to rinse out the inside. You really have to soak it, and even then, salt gets stuck in there and it becomes very difficult to adjust/telescope. I’ve had to just take it completely apart.
Light and compact but yet sturdy. I replaced the mount with DSLR mount and it works great. Only complain that DSLR mount is so tight and hard to put it. The size is 14" which is great and hard to find pole this size. I could put into my small backpack and don't have to worry if it would fall off. The lightweight helps a lot when holding heavy camera and I could hold it steadier which means less chance for blur photos. I tried Obit Pole TRIM before this one but had to return because the top mount kept moving and it's too heavy at the max length.
UKPro carbon fiber is the best on the market! I've been using GoPro poles for the last six years and this one by far exceeds all expectations! Very light but very durable! A 10 out of 10!
